Anna-Marie Chin Architects is a multi-award-winning practice with a collaborative and friendly team culture.  We design a range of typologies including commercial, heritage, residential and even a back country hut, however our primary designs are bespoke residential projects at all scales.  We believe the creative nature and challenge of the design is all important, crafting buildings unique to each client.   

Due to our expanding workload, ­­­­­­­­we are seeking a person who wants to develop and grow with us in our team at our Arrowtown studio. 

We are looking for an all-rounder who is either a Registered Architect (1-3 years’ experience) or an Architectural Graduate, with a passion to develop design ideas into documentation drawings. The applicant will need to enjoy design and enjoy a challenge to create beautiful bespoke buildings.

The attributes that are important for this person to have are:  

Willingness to learn and works well in a team environment

Proficiency in Revit is desirable along with Adobe design suite (although training and support is available for suitable applicants)

Has an eye for design and detail

Ability to hand sketch is an advantage

Will rise to a challenge and is able to work independently

Base knowledge of the New Zealand building code and construction methods

Is a strong communicator

Has a positive can-do attitude

This is a full-time position based in Arrowtown with flexible working hours.
